3040 Fluted Acorn Top Newel - 3 1/2" square. This is a 3 1/2" Fluted Acorn top newel post with a 5" face. We have pin top and square top 1-3/4" balusters (2015 and 2005) which complement this style of newel post. This type of wood newel is also available for purchase on-line without flutes (see 3040) or reeded (3040-R). We also have this profile available off-line with a twist or octagon-cut - please call for pricing. Available in 3 different sizes - 48", 56", and 72". Turning length on newel post is approximately 22-1/2" on all 3 sizes. Available in Red Oak, Soft Maple, American Cherry, Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba), White Oak, Beech, Poplar, Hickory, Mahogany and Walnut.
